Wind Of Change Is Blowing

It's so sad when others can't forgive;
They drag things out and in the past they live.
Mole Hills turn into mountains;
Little spigots into erupting fountains.
Letting go of past mistakes;
Painful memories inside your mind;
grow from ponds into lakes.
Take a real look at who you are;
Search your soul and answers can't be far.
Don't let your wounds fester;
Be brave and stand tall against the tester.
A wind of change is a blowing;
Rivers of forgiveness flowing.

Upcoming Event #AnipalRoadTrip Friday, Jan. 22nd, 11AM EST

I am getting real excited about a upcoming #AnipalRoadTrip scheduled for this Friday, January 22nd, 11AM EST. This is going to be a really get away time for us anipals that have been cooped up on these long cold winter days. We are going to Barbados which is absolutely lovely this time of year. I actually get to be the pilot of the learjet we are taking borrowed by @nickdevious. There will be plenty of exotic food and drink both on and off the plane. We also have our own personnel DJ provided by @Dogstoyevsky. There will also be some very beautiful flight attendents catering to all our needs one of them, hopefully, is our own @MedusaJ. Please remember to pack the sunscreen and tanning lotions, beach towels, swimsuits, etc. Once we land in Barbados we will be met by a luxary limo and ride in style to the beachfront hotel. So hopefully you can attend our little getaway vacation and have some fun in the sun.

Life is like a Winding Road

Life can be like a winding road;
Hairpin curves at every turn,
Curves that make your stomach turn;
Curves that give you heartburn.
The road can steep or it can be low;
Made of asphalt or gravelled.
It can be a back road or one that is
well travelled.
Life can be what you make of it;
Which can be lemonade or spit;
Choose to make the best it has to offer
Let go and let the Higher Power do the rest.
If you follow the winding road long enough,
eventually it will straighten out;
This is when you can truely see
what life is all about.

Why I Love My Cats

Why do I love my cats so much you may ask?
The answer is easy and I will tell you why.
Cats do not discrimate;
Cats do not judge by sex, age, or race,
they will only look lovingly in your face.
Cats will listen like a true friend,
you can tell them your deepest, darkest secrets,
and they will never share.
You secret will be safe in their care.
Cats seem to know when you have a rough day;
They will be whimisical even ask you to play.
Cats even have a mysterious side that is true;
like the Egyptian Mau.
So now you know the reason why;
Cats are the best I do not lie.

Reflections

Words on a warm breeze whisper to me;
Like the long lost ship submerged at sea.
Looking at my past, the what could have been,
The regrets.
Water cascades into pools the tears I shed;
The present life reflects.
From within my soul beckons to me
A dream, a vision
A remembrance of faith shines into the depth
Of my heart
Of not so long ago
Then I remember to rejoice in all things;
I give praise until my heart sings.
Positivity will see you through,
Dreams still can come true.

Beaver Loves Everyone

Good afternoon to all my adoring fans. MOL I hope everyone has enjoyed the new year, although it has started off being terribly cold. I am, however, a housecat. Last year around this time of year when the temperatures were just as cold, I decided to slip out the front door when my dad wasn't looking, he was getting the mail. Well, I got the shock of my life. That day changed me from ever wanting to venture out again. That cold air made my little gold eyes almost freeze from cold and fright. Luckily, I was discovered to be absent within a few minutes. I vowed then never again. I love my home and I am a fortunate kitty. I have play pals, my favorite is Wally, he has a beautiful tuxedo coat all shiny too. We wrestle and play, he is fussy though, he dont like me messing up his fur. I also love to just pester the girl cat Princess. That is just because she is a drama queen and always telling mom I hurt her, I don't. I just chase her, she is 13 year old kitty, I am trying to keep her youthful. Heard that exercise is good for making you feel young again. Then there is my Uncle Tigger a big longhair kitty that is also a senior cat of 13 years old too. He is mostly sleeping most of the time, but when he is awake we know to behave ourselves or get a tongue lashing. Mom calls him Tiggy, he is what you call the alpha-romeo. He gets upset at me and my youthful ways of play, he can hiss like a tiger. I am going to start hissing at mom if she doesnt start writing more on this blog. I want to be in the spotlight! Kitty nosetaps to all.
